Rob grew up on a farm in Central Hawke's Bay. After leaving school, he finished his building apprenticeship in Wellington and then looked for experience and adventure overseas. In London, he led a team renovating historic buildings, including Winston Churchill’s family's private residence.
Rob then worked in Sydney for five years as a foreman for a successful construction business whose clients included Museum of Sydney, and several prestigious restaurants and cafes. Residential work included alterations to luxury homes on the northern beaches.
Rob returned to Hawke’s Bay in 2001 to set up his own construction business specialising in high end new builds and renovations. He has a great team beside him, who pride themselves in quality workmanship.
